A simple operating mode to improve people’s lives
HOW IT WORKS
Mobile apps to schedule, load and unload by the touch of a button, machine learning to automatically generate the best route, real-time notifications and simple unloading operation via mobile app or text messages are some of the features offered by Udelv to make delivery a seamless experience.
Scheduling
The Udelv Schedule module offers a set of user-friendly tools, services and dashboards to easily schedule, add, remove or modify routes. Businesses can choose to create fixed routes for B2B operations. Alternatively, individual consumers will use a Udelv API to seamlessly interact with a site’s check-out process to pick a delivery time and let the system automatically create customer routes.
Loading
Loading is made easy with a merchant mobile app that enables business associates to quickly load the Transporter and fill up to 40 compartments on each side. Associates can adapt the size of each compartment to the dimensions of the packages by adding or removing horizontal shelves and vertical partitions, each of which features sensors to detect the size of the compartment, automatically send the information to the cloud and attribute it to a recipient. Compartmentalization can be made to correspond to individual customer deliveries on B2C routes or organized as partitions for bulk deliveries of goods to stores on multi-stop B2B routes. Additionally, the software supports returning goods for both B2C and B2B routes.
Udelv Drive
The Transporter uses a combination of autonomous driving technology and remote-control operations to take it from point A to point B within a defined geographical area. On public roads, the Transporter is driven by Mobileye Drive™ and in unmapped areas such as parking lots or community roads, experienced tele-operators seamlessly take control over the vehicle with Udelv’s proprietary ultra-low latency Tele-Operations system. Gradually the need for tele-operators will decrease as more roads, paved and unpaved, get mapped.
Real-time Notifications
Follow your packages on an interactive map and receive real-time notifications via the Udelv mobile app or simply via text message and be alerted five minutes before your goods arrive and then again when the Transporter has come to your door and is ready for unloading.
Unloading Via App
Unloading is made easy with a combination of features offered on mobile devices. No need for a vehicle screen or keyboard when everything can be handled from a phone. Tap the button on the mobile app or simply respond 1 to a text message to open your compartment and simply retrieve your goods. If both hands are busy carrying packages, a proprietary beacon feature will automatically open or close your compartment as you move closer to or away from the Transporter. And if you are not home, simply share your delivery with a roommate, your kids or father-in-law via a share feature with friends or relatives! If no one has shown up to retrieve their goods after a 6-minute dwell time, the Transporter will move to its next stop on the route and send a reschedule notification to the missing customer.
The Transporter Command Center
The Transporter Command Center (TCC) is Udelv’s tele-operations and remote control central system. With 8 onboard cameras and a proprietary FPGA board, Udelv’s tele-operations system ensures successful start and completion of missions when the vehicle is in an area that is challenging for the autonomous driver, unmapped, or that requires special attention for safety reasons. With a record-breaking glass-to-glass latency of less than 100ms, it enables Udelv to achieve and maintain the highest safety standards on and off roads while simultaneously being ready to remotely troubleshoot the Transporter and the uPod, and communicate with users in the event of a failure, even hundreds or thousands of miles away.

Fleet Management & Operations
Udelv offers fleet operators a set of tools to optimize delivery efficiency and cost, seamlessly operate their fleets with minimal human intervention, input customer orders, create trips, generate routes, change or modify trips on the fly, add refueling (charging) stops, all of it with Udelv’s proprietary automated Fleet Simulation Tool.
Actual routes then generate performance data that are collected through a comprehensive set of easy-to-use dashboards. Businesses can drill down to the vehicle level to review the status of any delivery, or up to the fleet level to assess overall performance across multiple vehicles. You can also review fleets by business line, service type, route number, etc.
